Label Text: Morning light gradually reveals the distant skyline as mist rises from the quiet canal. The work day is beginning with modest foot traffic across the bridge. Hasui Kawase was one of the most popular artists designing images to be carved and printed for shin-hanga publisher Shozaburo Watanabe.
